IT’S TIME TO END FA

The cure for FA seems very close

Friedreich's Ataxia is an inherited neuromuscular condition caused by the underproduction of a key protein called frataxin. Without enough frataxin, cells in the body have trouble functioning correctly, particularly nerve and heart cells. Excitingly, progress is being made on many fronts and there is a growing pipeline of promising treatments being explored. For anyone affected by FA, a cure can't come quick enough.
